Seven Lakes North and South

While Seven Lakes North and Seven Lakes South both belong to the same association and are separated only by Seven Lakes Drive, they each have very distinctive characteristics and each has it’s special and appealing features. The community of Seven Lakes North and South is a private, gated community that got its start in the early 70’s with the construction of the lakes, dams and roads and the golf course. Initially, the Seven Lakes community was intended to be a vacation community but it was soon obvious that it appealed to people interested in a full time residence as well. Today, there’s a broad demographic range that includes families and children of all ages as well as many retirees who enjoy all the wonderful amenities as well as the relaxing and secure atmosphere.

The main attraction of Seven Lakes North is the beautiful, spring-fed lakes which offer all residents ample opportunity to enjoy swimming, boating and fishing. Lake Sequoia is the largest lake with 220 acres of crystal clear water and is the best for skiing and recreational boating. Lake Echo, with 90 acres, also allows recreational boating. The other lakes are scattered throughout the community and are spring-fed, scenic lakes – too small for recreational boating but great for fishing, swimming and sailing!

The Community Activity Center, Game Room and Club House for community and private functions is located on the North side. Also on the North side, you’ll find an Olympic-size swimming pool and a kiddie pool, community tennis courts and basketball courts and a playground area. For young horse lovers and the parents and grandparents of young horse lovers, there’s a community stable with horses available to the residents of Seven Lakes North and South. There is also a private health club on the North side with workout facilities and an indoor pool and additional tennis courts.

The main attraction of Seven Lakes South is Seven Lakes Country Club which offers superb golf and tennis for its members and their guests. There is also a great dining room and lounge serving excellent food and libations.

Located just 10 miles from the traffic circle in Pinehurst, Seven Lakes is a wonderful community with much to offer!
