FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a private, non-governmental, not-for-profit health care network serving 15 counties in the mid-Carolinas.
FirstHealth of the Carolinas includes three hospitals with a total of 611 licensed beds. FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, the network’s flagship hospital, is a 385-bed acute-care facility offering a broad spectrum of specialties and a full range of health care services.  In both scope and quality, the services offered by Moore Regional match those typically associated with university medical centers and large, urban hospitals.  Moore Regional has a medical staff of nearly 200 physicians, a professional staff of more than 2,700 and more than 725 volunteers.
The FirstHealth Moore Regional Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center is one of the most complete cancer care programs in the state. FirstHealth’s cancer experts have the specialized knowledge and skill to diagnose and effectively treat a wide range of cancers.
