When in 1906, Donald Ross first saw the beautiful rolling hills of what is currently the Southern Pines Golf Club, he was inspired to design and build his third golf course in the Sandhills of NC. With Ross' well known roll-off greens and collection areas, plus the century old longleaf pines surrounding the greens, tees and fairways, this course is a treat for the traditional golf enthusiast. Don't be fooled by the overall yardage because this is a shotmaker's golf course and has some of the best par 3 holes in the Pinehurst area. Driving Range, Putting Green Pro Shop and Grill.
