Our family arrived in Pinehurst in June 1993 quite by accident. Vacationing from life in Saudi Arabia (where former husband worked in international banking), our decision to take US220 South was the catalyst for a life altering discovery. Nothing prepared us to be so captivated by idyllic, magical Pinehurst. Three days later we drove out of town owning a small piece of downtown Pinehurst Village. Our experience is not unique. Folks from all parts of the world choose our area as their home charmed by the natural beauty and friendly people who live here.

A member of Martha Gentry's Homes Selling Team since 1999, I've experienced the changes in our market and real estate landscape of buying and selling homes. Finding just the right home or helping sellers take another step in their real estate journey are the high points of what I do. Real Estate is usually the largest monetary investment we make, but it's also a place where family and friends gather, and memories are made. I meet these challenges with enthusiasm, experience and knowledge.

After years of “itchy feet,” living in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, England, Belgium and Kuwait and rubbing up against many different cultures, I never tire of living in the Sandhills. A sign I saw sums it up succinctly – “I wasn’t born here, but I got here as soon as I could.” Real Estate education is important to me. To that end I have invested a great deal of effort and personal resources to earn: ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist – the Realtor PhD), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist – generational selling), MRP (Military Relocation Professional Certification) and SFR (Short Sale Foreclosure Realtor®). Raised in Salt Lake City, UT, I studied at the University of Utah.

Lari was the 2013 President of the Pinehurst Southern Pines Association of Realtors, 2012 - 2013 NCAR Board of Directors and was honored by her peers as 2010 Realtor® of the Year.
