My husband and I moved from Boston to Seven Lakes back in the fall of 2007. We had vacationed for many years at Ocean Isle Beach and knew that someday we would return to North Carolina on a more permanent basis. We were attracted to Seven Lakes by the friendliness of the people, the simplicities of small town living and the vast array of social, cultural, historical, recreational, and educational amenities available in Moore County. Going to the Post Office or pharmacy seems less like a chore when the employees there are your friends and neighbors and greet you by name. This is truly a wonderful place to live, work and play!
